Unidentified Drones Threaten German Infrastructure

According to the German channel ‘NDR’, unidentified drones were spotted in the skies over Schleswig-Holstein early on September 26. In this context, German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt stated that these were ‘swarms of drones’, leading to a high level of threat in the country, according to him. An internal memo mentioned that the Schleswig-Holstein state police, while monitoring the drones, observed them flying in parallel paths, seemingly to precisely measure critical infrastructure facilities on the ground, as reported by ‘Der Spiegel’ magazine citing the document. The publication outlined the path of the unidentified drones and identified the critical infrastructure facilities they flew over. These facilities include a coastal power station, the shipbuilding division site of ‘Thyssenkrupp’, the regional government and parliament buildings, and the university hospital in Kiel, the capital of Schleswig-Holstein.
