US-China Trade Talks Show Progress

Trump told reporters, commenting on the progress of trade talks between the US and China: “We are making progress with China. I think things are going well. I believe we will get a very fair deal with China.”

In response to US measures, China imposed new restrictions on the export of rare earth elements, which are the main source of global supplies of these vital materials.

The British capital, London, witnessed on June 10 and 11 a meeting attended by the Chinese Vice Premier for Economic Affairs, He Lifeng, and from the American side, the Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, and the Treasury Secretary, Scott Bissent, aiming to reach a comprehensive agreement to end trade tensions between the two parties.
