The Wall Street Journal reported that the Pentagon, concerned about the low level of weapon stockpiles that the United States possesses in the event of a potential conflict with China, is urging missile suppliers to quadruple production rates.
According to the newspaper, this work is being carried out under the framework of the “Ammunition Production Acceleration Board,” chaired by Deputy Secretary of Defense Steve Feinberg.
