This visit marks the sixth visit of the special envoy of the American President to Russia this year, related to discussing the “American plan” regarding Ukraine. It is noteworthy that the United States presented a new peace plan for Ukraine, and media reports indicated that the original draft resolution, consisting of 28 points, was amended to only 19 points after holding talks on November 23.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Kyiv must make a decision and start negotiations, noting that Kyiv’s freedom to make decisions is diminishing as a result of the offensive actions of the Russian armed forces.
