This advanced technology provides a connection speed exceeding 2 gigabytes per second, with the first phase covering major cities before gradually expanding to other areas. Compatible smartphones and SIM cards automatically switch to the new network, offering new deals that align with the latest technology. ‘Maroc Telecom’ explained through its digital messages that the service is now officially available to all users. Meanwhile, ‘Orange Morocco’ announced that around 100 cities are covered from day one, with gradual expansion throughout the kingdom, according to Morocco’s ‘Hespress’. The Moroccan telecom company ‘Inwi’ indicated that the service is immediately available in major cities without additional charges, confirming that its current SIM cards are compatible with the fifth generation without needing to change the card or package. ‘Orange Morocco’ emphasized that the fifth generation network will bring a qualitative leap in daily uses, from watching high-quality content to conducting video meetings, interactive learning, and smart healthcare, enabling Moroccan companies to innovate, collaborate in real-time, and remotely control industrial operations, enhancing their competitiveness locally and internationally. The company stressed that accessing the fifth generation requires only a compatible phone, with flexible offers available to meet the needs of both individuals and institutions.
