The Abu Dhabi Police Security Sector, together with more than 20 government agencies of the Emirate, conducted an inspection campaign aimed at raising awareness in the field of safety, health, environmental protection, as well as compliance with laws and regulations for commercial facilities at Madinat Zayed Industrial.
Brigadier General Hamdan Saif Al Mansouri, Director of the Al-Dhafra Police Department, stressed that this initiative is part of the strategic efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police and its partners to achieve the goals of the Government and transform Abu Dhabi into a world leader in sustainable security.
The two-week campaign includes intensive training programs organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Federal Tax Administration, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority and other key institutions. The main purpose of the events is to raise awareness of employees and shopkeepers about the need to comply with licenses, as well as occupational safety and health standards. This, in turn, should help reduce the number of offenses and demonstrate the civilized appearance of the emirate.
The Al Dhafra Regional Police Department, Abu Dhabi Police Helicopters and the K9 Security Inspection Department are actively involved in the campaign. Considerable attention is paid to the humanitarian aspect, including the participation of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation and the Emirates Red Crescent Office, which distribute food, water and juices.
Brigadier General Al Mansouri expressed gratitude to the partners for their active cooperation in the first stage of the campaign, which brought serious results in the field of information and education.
Lieutenant Colonel Saleh Salim Al-Amiri, Head of the Observatory Department of the Criminal Security Sector Patrol Department, noted that upon completion of the first stage, the second one will be activated, within which strict measures will be taken against violators of legislation and regulations related to public health and safety. He called on community members to actively cooperate and report any wrongdoing through the official channels of the Abu Dhabi Police High Command.
