Abu Dhabi’s AI-Powered TAMM Revolutionizes Services

The tasks include renewing licenses, paying utility bills, and scheduling regular medical check-ups, saving citizens and residents time and effort. This technology operates smoothly without annoying notifications or waiting for approvals, allowing individuals to focus their energies on their favorite personal activities, away from administrative routines.

The announcement was made during the events of “GITEX Global 2025,” alongside the launch of the new version of the “TAMM” unified digital platform for government services in Abu Dhabi. This achievement is a critical step towards Abu Dhabi’s goal of becoming the first government globally to fully rely on artificial intelligence, paving the way for an advanced generation of integrated digital services.

The feature allows users to customize their preferences and set automated tasks while ensuring the highest levels of security and efficiency in execution. This feature is a natural development of the AI-powered “TAMM” assistant, which now manages over 1,100 government and private services through a single, easy-to-use interface.

The assistant provides proactive support that adapts to changes in user needs, completing procedures on their behalf to enhance the personal experience. Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Katbi, Chairman of the Government Enablement Department in Abu Dhabi, confirmed that this innovation represents a qualitative leap towards the government of the future, where the government transforms from a mere interactive entity to a smart partner focused on individual needs at critical moments.

He added that Abu Dhabi offers a global model for a proactive digital government, supported by the first virtual government employee powered by artificial intelligence. Dr. Mohamed Al Askar, Director General of “TAMM,” noted that these developments reshape the role of the government, shifting from focusing on individual transactions to smart journeys tailored to each user, giving individuals more time for their comfort.

“TAMM” surpasses simple automation to offer more human-like interactions, with the addition of three specialized spaces: “Family,” “Mobility,” and “Our Health.” These focus on daily needs, such as managing health records, education updates, travel planning, and community interaction, based on real-life experiences rather than traditional administrative structures.

“TAMM” services will be deployed through mobile hologram units across the emirate, providing instant connection to virtual employees offering personalized support in both languages, maintaining the human touch with digital efficiency. The “TAMM for You” service was also launched to empower the public to suggest, vote on, and design new services to meet the goals of the Emirati community.

Saeed Al Mulla, General Manager in the department, explained that the updates aim to integrate the government into daily life with less effort, enhancing trust in proactive support that considers daily needs and makes life easier and more interconnected. The platform now brings together services from more than 90 partners, with new additions like Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, Komera Company, WeYu Bank, Department of Justice, and Saeed Company, to enable comprehensive transactions with the private sector within the app.

The launch of “TAMM 4.0” is part of the Abu Dhabi Digital Strategy 2025-2027, setting new global standards in digital governance and giving users confidence in transactions designed for their life priorities.
