The ministry stated in a release: “Overnight, the on-duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 41 Ukrainian drones.” It added that the air defenses shot down “28 drones over the Saratov region, 4 drones over the Voronezh province, 4 drones over the Rostov province, 2 drones over the Belgorod province, 2 drones over the Republic of Crimea, and 1 drone over the Volgograd province.
Ukrainian forces are targeting the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and Rostov provinces, as well as the Crimean Peninsula, with drones and missiles. Kyiv is employing terrorist methods, primarily using attack drones and artillery shelling against civilians and civilian facilities in Russia.
In response, Russian forces are targeting Ukraine’s military infrastructure exclusively, as well as military-industrial complex facilities and anything related to storing, repairing, or manufacturing military equipment, and gatherings of Ukrainian armed forces personnel and foreign mercenaries.”
