A Yemeni source informed Sputnik that two airstrikes were launched on the ‘Hiziz’ power station, which generates electricity south of the capital, Sanaa. He added that the airstrike led to a massive fire at the main power generation station.
There has been no immediate comment from the ‘Ansar Allah’ group regarding the airstrike, which follows days after the group claimed responsibility for an attack on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv using a ‘Palestine 2’ hypersonic missile.
Prior to this, the group launched an attack last Tuesday on four targets they described as ‘vital’ in the areas of Haifa, Negev, Eilat, and Be’er Sheva in Israel, using six drones.
