On Monday, rapper Lil Nas X faced four felony charges after allegedly confronting police officers who attempted to detain him during a naked walk in Los Angeles last week.

The Old Town Road star was taken into custody after undressing on a busy city street.

Initial footage last week showed him in cowboy boots and underwear as he strolled through Studio City.

However, new video obtained by TMZ shows the artist, whose real name is Montero Hill, completely nude.

This aligns with police statements to AFP last week, where a spokesperson confirmed: “There was a nude man walking in the street.”

“When officers arrived, the suspect charged at them. He was detained and taken to a local hospital for a possible overdose and arrested for battery on a police officer.”

Hill appeared in court on Monday, pleading not guilty to three counts of felony battery on a police officer and one count of resisting arrest.

His bail was set at $75,000 (Dh275,437), with a court date scheduled for September 15.

The incident triggered online buzz, as fans eagerly watched the artist’s flamboyant antics with the camera.

“Don’t be late to the party tonight,” he said to a passerby. It was unclear which party he referred to or when “tonight” was, given the footage was filmed at dawn.

At one point, he asked the person filming, who appeared to be in a car, to hand over the phone so he could dispose of it.

“I want to throw it far away so you never see it again. I don’t like phones,” he declared.

“Didn’t I tell you to put the phone down? Uh-oh, someone’s gonna have to pay for that,” he said, humorously wagging his finger.
