Al Hilal Agrees with Liverpool for Nunez Transfer

A Western newspaper reported on Thursday morning that Al Hilal succeeded in reaching an agreement with the English team Liverpool to purchase the remaining period of Nunez’s contract for an amount of 65 million euros. The two clubs agreed in the past few hours, with only the medical examinations and official signing of the contract remaining.

Last Saturday, Al-Riyadiyah reported that Milan and Al Hilal are competing to secure the services of Uruguayan Darwin Nunez, the first-team striker of Liverpool Football Club. The management of the Italian club placed Nunez’s name as a primary option to strengthen the center-forward position during the current summer transfer window. Milan officials presented Darwin Nunez’s agents with the club’s project under the leadership of Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri to convince them of the idea of the transfer, while being aware of the difficulty in obtaining Liverpool’s approval as the club holds the player’s card until June 2028.

Italian Simone Inzaghi, a coach, had requested his club’s management to sign Nunez after Swedish Alexander Isak, a Newcastle English striker and the main target of the blue team, required a salary exceeding 60 million euros annually to agree to a transfer to the Saudi team.
