Rashaq Refutes Trump’s Claims on Gaza Aid

Rashaq described Trump’s statements as “Israeli lies that absolve the criminal and hold the victim responsible,” noting that Trump does not tire of repeating Israeli accusations and lies, and we will not tire of rejecting and refuting them. Rashaq confirmed in a press statement that these claims are “false and not based on any evidence,” pointing out that reports from international organizations, including the United Nations, in addition to an internal investigation by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), have refuted these allegations and confirmed that there are no reports proving Hamas stole aid.

Rashaq held the Israeli occupation responsible for the “systematic starvation and genocide” in Gaza, describing it as a “direct result of the Israeli policy supported by the U.S., which uses food and medicine as weapons of war against more than two million people.” He called on the American administration to “stop viewing the scene through Israeli eyes” and to bear its “moral and legal responsibilities,” by condemning the war of starvation and unjust siege, stopping support for the occupation, and supporting the safe and complete entry of aid through the United Nations, rather than through what he described as “the traps of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation used to kill the hungry.”

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump revealed his efforts to prepare a plan to provide food for the residents of the Gaza Strip, affirming that helping civilians to live “should have happened a long time ago.” Trump expressed to American media his concern about reports discussing famine in the region, but he accused Hamas of “stealing and selling the humanitarian aid that enters Gaza.” In a related context, Trump praised, without specifying the nature of his work, pointing out that he has not yet received any briefing from him regarding his recent visit to Gaza.
