The exhibition showcased works where participating artists from Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, and Bahrain expressed their creative visions through various art schools, ranging from realism, abstraction, to contemporary art. These works represented a space filled with hope, where artists aimed to dispel the “accumulation of darkness with a brush of light,” turning art into nourishment for the soul amidst ongoing crises. The paintings addressed the details of daily life with its negatives and positives, focusing on issues of identity and belonging. From deep symbolism to flowing lines, artists left the audience free to interpret the artwork with their feelings, away from the complexities of critique.
In a strategic move towards expansion, the exhibition director, Mr. Farhat Farhat, revealed that this edition serves as a prelude to the launch of the first international edition of the exhibition in London on January 23 and 24, 2026. This expansion aims to make the exhibition the first platform exclusively dedicated to Arab art in the British capital, creating a vital bridge for Arab artists towards global recognition and international art markets.
The “Arab Art Exhibition” in its fourth edition has proven that Beirut remains a center of cultural radiance and that art continues to be a unifying language and an effective tool for expressing pain, hope, and the adherence to life.
