Bigg Boss Tamil 9 Returns with Vijay Sethupathi

Excitement is at its peak for Bigg Boss Tamil fans, as the much-anticipated reality show returns for its ninth season.

Vijay Sethupathi is back as the host, bringing his familiar charm and presence to the show once again. His return puts to rest any doubts about his continued role as the programme’s anchor.

The channel recently shared this news on Instagram, along with a poster of Sethupathi in a cream denim jacket. The caption teased: “You will understand only by watching… You will know only by going. Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 | Grand Launch – From October 5th.”

Viewers can catch Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 on Vijay Television and streaming on JioCinema, starting with the grand premiere on October 5.

Vijay Sethupathi is currently juggling multiple projects. He is set to appear in Puri Jagannadh’s new film, which also features Tabu and Samyuktha. Filming began in July in Hyderabad, with on-set photos showing Vijay alongside the director, producers, and cast.

His latest release, Thalaivan Thalaivii, a romantic comedy with Nithya Menen, hit theatres in July 2025 and is now available on streaming platforms.
