Get ready for the grand BOTIM Onamamangam 2025 at the Sharjah Expo Center on Sunday, September 7, marking one of the UAE’s largest Onam celebrations. With tickets nearly sold out, excitement is palpable among Malayalee communities across the Emirates.
This year’s event features Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran as the chief guest. The musical lineup is star-studded, featuring performances by Stephen Devassy and Band, Haricharan, Job Kurian, Anju Joseph, Praseetha Chalakudy, Hanan Shah, and Malayalam rap talents Thirumali and Thadvaiser.
Pre-event Onam competitions in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah saw record participation, highlighting activities like Thiruvathira, cinematic dance, payasam-making, tug-of-war, Mr. Malayali, and children’s contests. Over 76,000 people attended the Abu Dhabi stage, setting high expectations for the finale. Adding to the excitement, a branded Onamamangam bus toured Dubai, a promotional first for a Malayalam cultural event in the UAE.
Attendees at the finale can enjoy a mix of traditional and entertaining activities, including Uriyadi, sack races, a mega Onam swing, and lifelike robotic elephants. A sumptuous Onam Sadya with 27 traditional dishes awaits ticket holders.
BOTIM, the main sponsor, offers 1,000 free tickets through an international money transfer promotion, with ten lucky winners dining with Prithviraj at the Onam Sadya. Prizes include an iPhone 16 Pro from DARTC and other partner giveaways.
Presented by DARTC and supported by numerous sponsors, BOTIM Onamamangam 2025 promises to be an exciting celebration of music, culture, and community spirit. Tickets are available at www.platinumlist.net.
