A Global Platform with UAE Roots

Originating in the UAE—a hub of culture, economy, and ideas—the BRIDGE Alliance is globally focused. As an independent, mission-driven entity, it aims to create a cohesive, resilient, and ethical global media framework reflecting shared values of cooperation and accountability.

The Board of Directors acts as the primary guiding and fiduciary body, providing strategic guidance, policy direction, and institutional stewardship in alignment with its founding principles.

The board includes esteemed global figures such as Princess Lamia bint Majed Al Saud, CEO of Rotana Media Group and Secretary-General of Alwaleed Philanthropies; Macky Sall, former President of Senegal (2012–2024); Dr. Jamal Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Vice-Chairman of BRIDGE Alliance; Jessica Sibley, CEO of TIME; Janet Yang, former President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences; Dr. Julie Gichuru, Founder and CEO of the Africa Leadership and Dialogue Institute; Daniil Shuleyko, CEO of Yango Group; Sanford Climan, Founder of Entertainment Media Ventures; Richard Attias, strategist and Chairman’s Strategic Advisor to BRIDGE Alliance; and Maryam bin Fahad, Managing Director of BRIDGE Alliance.

“The BRIDGE Alliance, born in the UAE, is a humanitarian and economic initiative aimed at redefining the ties between media, society, and economy, fostering bridges of understanding, impact, and growth among nations during times when humanity needs unifying platforms,” said Al Hamed.

“The UAE recognizes media as a positive force, expanding awareness and cooperation opportunities.”

Al Kaabi stated: “Through BRIDGE, we strive to create a flexible environment for idea exchange, expertise sharing, and innovation transformation into tangible societal and economic impacts.”

Richard Attias, Chairman’s Strategic Advisor to BRIDGE Alliance, elaborated on the dual governance model of the Alliance—comprising the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board—to ensure clarity, consistency, and credibility as BRIDGE develops into a lasting global organization.

BRIDGE Summit: The Alliance’s First Major Initiative

The Board discussed preparations for the Alliance’s inaugural major initiative, the BRIDGE Summit 2025, the world’s largest new media event, scheduled for December 8-10, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

The Summit will feature 400 global speakers, 300 exhibitors, and over 60,000 participants across seven content tracks: Media, Creator Economy, Music, Gaming, Technology, Marketing, and Picture. Its agenda is designed to transform dialogue into action, fostering new partnerships, policies, and investments that broaden access to the global content economy.

Maryam bin Fahad, Managing Director of BRIDGE Alliance, highlighted that every aspect of the BRIDGE Summit 2025—from program design and speaker selection to venue layout and partnership framework—has been meticulously crafted to promote collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth across the global content economy.

From its UAE base, BRIDGE Alliance aspires to become a leading global hub for innovation, policy development, and collaboration across media, content, and entertainment. Through cross-sector integration and talent development, it aims to set the global agenda for responsible media growth. The Alliance plans to continue expanding its initiatives worldwide, starting with the landmark BRIDGE Summit 2025 in Abu Dhabi this December—a platform for dialogue, creativity, and transformation.
