If your birthday or that of a loved one is before the end of February, enjoy a unique celebration with the world’s tallest greeting card! The Burj Khalifa will illuminate with ‘happy birthday to you’ messages each night at 8.45pm until February 28.
Visit the Dubai Mall waterfront promenade to capture the perfect view of the Burj Khalifa and take selfies or photos with the birthday celebrant as the display begins.
A representative from Emaar informed Khaleej Times that the display is a “generic happy birthday message” lasting just over three minutes.
“The intention is for anyone celebrating their birthday on that day to enjoy the show and take photos. The display is not tailored for any individual.”
A video on the Burj Khalifa’s social media shows the tower lighting up with birthday messages and decorations. “Your special celebrations are ours too,” states the social media post.
Laser shows on the world’s tallest building have returned earlier this month. Synchronized with the facade display, laser beams dance to music and captivate audiences. These laser shows will continue until March 31.
