Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is set to visit the UAE for a bilateral meeting and attend the G20 summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, from November 18 to 24, as announced by his office on Wednesday.
During his stay in Abu Dhabi, Carney will engage in discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on enhancing partnerships in energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and AI, according to a statement from the prime minister’s office.
The statement also mentioned that “the Prime Minister will engage with both business and government leaders at the G20 summit to highlight opportunities for boosting investment and trade with Canada.”
