A gift from her fiancé turned into a stroke of luck for a young Indian expat in Dubai, winning her Dh1 million at the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) grand draw.
The expat, named Sweety, clinched the grand prize thanks to a gold bangle her fiancé had given her.
The DSS event wraps up on Sunday, August 31. Known for its retail promotions and citywide raffles, DSS has kept the city buzzing all summer long.
