Exhibition on Russian-Korean Relations

The exhibition features around 150 original pieces and more than 100 digitized documentary materials from the “Victory” Museum collection, in addition to contributions from eight other museums and archives. Visitors to the exhibition will learn about the assistance provided by the Soviet Union to the military during the Korean War (1950-1953).

The final section, “The Sacred Mission,” will be the main focus, as it covers the period of relations between Russia and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea from 2000 to the present day. Special attention will be given to the participation of Korean soldiers in the special military operation to liberate the Kursk region from Ukrainian ultra-nationalists and foreign mercenaries.

The exhibition will also display a replica of the painting “The Combat Brotherhood between Russia and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea,” which is a gift to the leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
