The diplomat said in the morning program “Fox News”: “He will not set these conditions. A peace agreement can only be reached if both parties accept it.” He added that the White House continues to seek mediation opportunities, expressing hope to use its influence to bring both parties to the negotiation table.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin (Russian presidency) spokesperson, stated on September 15 that “NATO is in a de facto state of war with Russia,” pointing out that this is clear and needs no evidence. Peskov told reporters: “NATO provides direct and indirect support to the Kyiv regime. Therefore, we can certainly say that NATO is at war with Russia.”
Peskov continued: “We have already talked with you about the existence of a pause (in negotiations regarding the conflict), and this pause is clear. As you can see, there is no flexibility in the Ukrainian position, and no readiness from the Kyiv regime to start serious discussions.” According to him, “There is no real readiness on the part of the Kyiv regime to begin serious discussions. There are calls for an immediate meeting, but most likely, the goal is the emotional impact of such calls.”
