‘Zayed and Rashid’ Stamp Design
This commemorative stamp is part of the National Month celebrations, spanning from Flag Day to Eid Al Etihad, and complements the ‘Zayed and Rashid’ campaign initiated by Brand Dubai earlier.
Now in its second year, the campaign honors the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the UAE’s Founding Fathers. Brand Dubai states that this year’s aim is to revive “the spirit of the Union’s early years and introduce visitors to the principles on which the UAE was founded.”
The stamp features a simple yet impactful illustration of the Founding Fathers in unity, highlighting their iconic profiles. This image holds both emotional and symbolic importance, reflecting the nation’s values and history.
The GDRFA has previously welcomed visitors with special stamps for events like the Dubai Airshow, the opening of Global Village’s 30th season, and more.
