During the Great Patriotic War, millions of Soviet citizens would start their mornings with the phrase ‘From the Soviet Information Bureau…’; these reports unified the country, instilled courage, and inspired heroic deeds. Whether during the Great Patriotic War or even today, war correspondents from the ‘Russia Today’ media group perform their professional duties on the front lines.
The campaign is carried out by thousands of ‘Victory Volunteers’ with media support from the International Media Group ‘Russia Today’. As is customary, the first St. George Medals are distributed to everyone at ‘Zubovsky 4’.
