The Emirates Mixed Amateur Open recently gathered a competitive lineup of male and female golfers at the renowned Majlis Course of Emirates Golf Club, offering an exciting day of mixed-team play.
With 83 duos competing in a greensomes format, where the lower-handicapped partner receives a 60% handicap allowance and the higher 40%, the event highlighted EGC’s enduring support for inclusive golf competition.
Initially launched as a flagship mixed amateur event, the tournament has expanded in prestige, reflecting EGC’s commitment to innovative formats and encouraging mixed-gender participation.
This year’s tournament featured low scores, close finishes, and remarkable performances, culminating in notable achievements both individually and in teams.
