A 20-year-old Emirati man lost his life and four others were injured in varying degrees in a collision involving two cars in Fujairah, as reported by Emarat Al Youm on Tuesday.
The crash occurred on Ghub Internal Road on Sunday, according to an officer quoted by the newspaper. This incident was also covered by other Arabic media sources.
Brigadier General Saleh Mohammed Abdullah Al Zanahani, the Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, mentioned that the operations room of the General Command received a report about the vehicle collision on Sunday evening.

Police patrols and the National Ambulance were quickly sent to the site, where it was discovered that the accident was caused by a vehicle entering the road without checking for clearance, resulting in the collision.
The police official noted that the injured were transported to Dibba Fujairah Hospital for necessary medical care.
