The published images also include prominent figures such as former Trump advisor Steve Bannon, former Clinton Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, director Woody Allen, the former prince now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, as well as Bill Gates from Microsoft and Richard Branson from the Virgin Group. The Democratic Committee on the Oversight Board noted that “these disturbing images raise more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the world’s most powerful men.” On the other hand, the White House accused Democrats of releasing “carefully selected photos” from Epstein’s properties “to create a false narrative.” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said, “The Democrats’ hoax against President Trump has been debunked repeatedly.” The published images also included pictures of sex toys and a condom decorated with a picture of Trump with the caption “I’m huge!” Out of the 19 photos published on Friday, three feature Trump. In the first, he is seen standing next to six women wearing traditional Hawaiian leis around their necks with their faces blurred. In the second, Trump is seen with Epstein speaking to an unidentified blonde woman. The third photo shows Trump sitting next to a blonde woman whose face is blurred. The President told reporters in the Oval Office on Friday that he had not seen the photos and considered their release “not a big deal,” adding, “Everyone knows this man, he was everywhere in Palm Beach. There are hundreds and thousands of people with photos of him. So, this is not a big deal. I don’t know anything about it.” The photos also show former President Clinton with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, who is sentenced to 20 years in prison for sex trafficking minors and other crimes, alongside two other unidentified individuals. It is noted that Epstein, the successful financier, maintained extensive relationships with the wealthy and powerful, often hosting them at his luxurious Caribbean home. He was convicted in Florida in 2008 on two sex charges, including solicitation of prostitution with a minor, and spent about a year in custody under unusual conditions, avoiding more serious charges until he was arrested in New York in 2019 on sex trafficking charges of minors. Epstein died in custody before his trial that same year, and his death was ruled a suicide. Trump struggled for months to prevent the release of the files but relented last month under congressional pressure, including from members of his Republican Party, and signed a law mandating the publication of the materials. It remains unclear how many of the massive files will be released, as authorities may cite the need to protect ongoing investigations. Trump and his allies have long pushed theories about protecting powerful Democrats, viewing the case as a symbol of how the wealthy can hide behind lawyers, money, and connections. However, his long friendship with Epstein has raised questions about what he knew about this notorious figure.
