The federation clarified that the new decision aims to ensure justice and equal opportunities between men and women, in addition to maintaining the safety of participants.
This decision comes at a time when the International Olympic Committee had previously suspended its membership, before recognizing it again last February, officially assigning it to organize boxing competitions at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
