In an intervention on ‘Sputnik’ radio, Al-Qaisi stated that ‘this forum carries major strategic dimensions stemming from the fact that Eurasian countries have become the center of global geopolitical changes.’ He noted that ‘the security model proposed by the United States no longer meets the interests of these countries, which seek a balance in international security and to enhance the independence of their decisions, based on their ability to face external challenges such as extremism and drugs.’
Al-Qaisi emphasized that ‘the wide participation from countries confirms that the global center of gravity has shifted from the West to the Eurasian regions, and that these countries are indeed working to reshape a new world order and the end of unipolarity, through mechanisms of collective decision-making, multi-dimensional security, including culture and economy, not just the military aspect, reducing military presence in the region, and solving problems through diplomatic means.’
