The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) has initiated a series of promotional events across the UAE to highlight premium Korean fruits such as Shine Muscat grapes, Korean pears, sweet potatoes, and persimmons.
The campaign kicked off with a tasting event at the Arte Museum Dubai, an immersive art space in The Dubai Mall. Organized in partnership with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Dubai, the event complemented the Consulate’s National Day reception and drew around 150 esteemed guests, including diplomats, government officials, and media personnel.
Guest of Honor Rashid Abdulla Al Qaseer, deputy director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Dubai Office), attended along with Salem Al Marri, director general of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre. Attendees enjoyed tastings of Shine Muscat grapes, Korean pears, sweet potatoes, and persimmons—all lauded for their freshness, sweetness, and superior quality.
Building on the success in Dubai, aT plans to extend its K-Fruit campaign to Abu Dhabi, with two more events scheduled in the coming weeks.
The first will be hosted at the Rixos Hotel Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization’s “Korea Tourism Night,” targeting key figures in the travel and hospitality sectors.
The second event will occur at Umm Al Emarat Park, in association with the Korean Cultural Center, providing a family-friendly atmosphere where visitors can taste fruits and learn about their health benefits.
These initiatives aim to boost awareness of Korean agricultural excellence and foster connections with UAE consumers through high-end hospitality partnerships and public engagement.
aT hopes that many residents and tourists will join the upcoming events to savor the taste and quality of K-Fruit firsthand.
