The Lebanese Central News Agency reported that teams from Civil Defense, the Red Cross, and the Health Authority immediately headed to the incident site, and an army patrol also arrived at the location. Sources told Al Arabiya channel that six soldiers were killed and others injured in the explosion in the Tyre district.
Earlier today, the Lebanese Army Command warned citizens against engaging in uncalculated protest movements due to the delicate security situation and ongoing Israeli violations of national sovereignty.
The command explained in a statement that calls have circulated on social media encouraging protests, accompanied by the distribution of old and fabricated videos aimed at inciting tension among citizens.
The army stressed that while it respects the right to peaceful expression of opinion, it will not allow any disturbance of security or harm to civil peace, including roadblocks or attacks on public and private properties.
