Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the “Courage in Labor” medal to employees of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center – the All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics affiliated with Rosatom, according to a Sputnik correspondent.
President Vladimir Putin emphasized that Russia is a leader in science and technology in the field of nuclear fusion. During a meeting with employees of Russian nuclear industry companies, Putin added, “Thanks to the prepared foundations, developments in this field are already used to innovate a wide range of applied solutions, and Russia is a leader in knowledge and technology here.”
President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia needs to set big goals in the nuclear industry and strive for a qualitative leap in the development of all human civilization. He added that Russia owes its security and sovereign development to the veterans of the nuclear industry.
