The agency confirmed in a tweet on the “X” platform that it has not been able to deliver any aid to the sector for six months due to the imposed blockade. It is noted that the plan to control Gaza City includes forcibly displacing about one million Palestinians to the southern sector, which has led to widespread international criticism, as preparations to implement the plan continue despite all warnings.

Residents of the sector are suffering from unprecedented levels of hunger, with UN organizations warning of the spread of famine and rising death rates due to malnutrition, especially among children, patients, and people with disabilities.

From October 7, 2023, to August 21, 2025, the war on Gaza resulted in the deaths of about 62,000 Palestinians, in addition to about 157,000 injured, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed Moscow’s concern over the escalation of the situation in the Gaza sector and the civilian casualties, stressing that Moscow is closely monitoring the situation and is looking forward to a return to the path of peace.
