Germany criticized Israel’s ground offensive in Gaza City on Tuesday, calling it “completely wrong” and advocating for negotiations towards a ceasefire and a hostage release agreement.
“The renewed attack on Gaza City is… an entirely misguided approach,” stated Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul. “We oppose this action and have communicated our stance to the Israeli government.”
