Oulah Palace Trading, a company operating in the mining sector, has discovered rich gold deposits within ‘quartz veins’ in the Guelmim region, southern Morocco. This comes in conjunction with the accelerating global competition to secure mineral concession contracts, especially in regions promising in terms of geological wealth.

According to the company’s reports, ‘more than 34 quartz veins have been identified, extending in a northwest-southeast direction within the license area and are found at depths exceeding 100 meters, with surface widths ranging from 40 centimeters to 1.5 meters.’

It added, ‘These deposits are located within hydrothermal formations in Precambrian rocks, inside the Anti-Atlas, about 200 kilometers south of Agadir.’

‘This discovery represents a significant development in the path of exploiting mineral resources in Morocco, opening new horizons for investment in this vital sector, which forms an important pillar in the Kingdom’s vision to boost its sustainable economic growth.’

According to the report, ‘The new gold discovery in Morocco holds special significance due to its unique geological position over the historic Draa River rocks, indicating the presence of a homogeneous network of gold veins, which opens wide horizons for further explorations.’

The report added, ‘This development comes at a time when Morocco is witnessing increasing international interest due to its diverse mineral resources, including gold, copper, lithium, and titanium. The competition for mining concessions is increasing as global supply chains seek to diversify their sources outside Asia.’

Oulah Palace aims to invest in these potentials to meet global demand through responsible development and long-term partnerships.
