Heavy Rains Flood Al Ain Roads, Alerts Issued

On Thursday, Al Ain and its surrounding areas experienced heavy rainfall, leading to road flooding and reduced visibility for drivers.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) had previously forecasted a wet spell for the UAE due to a low-pressure system developing over the region. Since then, various parts of the country have seen different levels of rainfall. The desert and mountainous areas have been hit hardest, with the rain creating mini waterfalls and transforming roads into streams.

On Thursday, the NCM issued orange and yellow alerts for the eastern parts of the country as the rain persisted. Residents and visitors are advised to exercise caution and adhere to guidance from authorities.
