Abu Dhabi police have advised motorists to exercise caution due to unpredictable weather and wet roads.

Earlier, authorities urged residents to avoid valleys, which are particularly at risk during such weather conditions.

The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued orange and yellow alerts for the southern and eastern regions.

A warning was also issued to the public, emphasizing the need for safety measures during heavy rain. It noted that descending winds could cause microbursts, reducing visibility. Residents are advised to avoid areas prone to landslides.
