Ibrahim told Sputnik Radio: “The slogan ‘We Have Recovered’ does not refer to physical recovery but rather spiritual and social recovery, because Israel could not break our will and our love for life.” He noted that he lives with his family, continues his studies in artificial intelligence, and works as a social activist.
Ibrahim revealed that “despite losing his sight, only his role in confrontation and resistance has changed.” He said: “We are in a struggle, and it’s true we lost our eyes and hands, but this motivates the world to see Israel’s brutality.”
Ibrahim affirmed that “the moment he learned he would become blind was very difficult, but he chose not to break.” He added, “It was hard to follow the war without being able to do anything.”
Ibrahim stressed that “the Israeli project has never ceased in Lebanon. Even after years, Israel is not deterred by international agreements or politics, but by force.” He continued, “The attack on the Lebanese is significant, aiming to internalize the problem by disarming Hezbollah,” emphasizing that “Lebanon is a final homeland for everyone.”
He pointed out that “the great powers do not want to strengthen and arm the army to be the protector of this nation, so we cannot face challenges with bare chests,” emphasizing the “necessity of reaching a defensive strategy through discussion and dialogue without causing discord.”
The explosions resulted in the death of 8 people, including a child, and injured about 3,000 others, including the Iranian ambassador in Beirut, in an incident that many sources agree Israel is behind.
