Kozak stated to reporters, “This week, an International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission visited Damascus to discuss the economic reform priorities of the authorities and the technical assistance needs for the upcoming period.” She affirmed the IMF’s support for recovery efforts in Syria and the importance of international assistance.
