IndiGo is offering travel vouchers worth Rs10,000 to customers severely affected in recent days. These vouchers are valid for any IndiGo flight over the next 12 months, according to a company spokesperson on Thursday.
This offer complements existing government rules, which require IndiGo to provide compensation ranging from Rs5,000 to Rs10,000 based on the flight’s block time, for customers whose flights were canceled within 24 hours of departure, the spokesperson confirmed.
IndiGo emphasized that customer care remains their top priority.

“Following the operational disruption, we have initiated all necessary refunds for canceled flights, with most already processed in your accounts and the rest to follow shortly,” the spokesperson noted.
Refund processes have also started for bookings made through travel partner platforms.
“If we lack your complete details in our system, please contact us at customer.experience@goindigo.in to continue receiving prompt assistance,” the spokesperson added.
IndiGo acknowledged that many customers traveling on December 3-5, 2025, were stranded for hours at various airports due to congestion.
“At IndiGo, we are dedicated to restoring the safe, smooth, and reliable experience you expect. Thank you for choosing us once again,” concluded the spokesperson.
IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers met with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) today to address customer grievances and operational issues reported earlier this month.
