Sputnik’s correspondent reported this Saturday evening that a large number of law enforcement officers are maintaining order in the area surrounding the ‘Life Arena’. Before the start of the ‘Intervision’ competition finals at ‘Life Arena’, viewers, including foreign guests, gathered to perform the song ‘Matushka’ by Russian singer Tatyana Kortukova. The song, inspired by folklore with a national theme, known for blending Russian cultural symbols with modern pop music, has become one of the most distinctive and widespread songs in recent years.

Nabil Al-Matari, one of the Arab fans at the competition, said the atmosphere is very enjoyable, praising the maintenance of Arab traditions and customs in the competition, affirming the Arab community’s support for Russia. He expressed his desire for any Arab country to win.

Emirati artist Saif Al Ali commented on the ‘Intervision’ international competition: ‘The competition is beautiful, we are ready, and we wish everyone success. The Russian people are beautiful, and their reception of guests is wonderful.’ Saudi artist Zina Emad performed the song ‘Don’t Worry’ with her warm voice at ‘Intervision’. Qatari representative Dana Al-Mir lit up the ‘Intervision’ stage with her resonant voice and was gifted a Russian balalaika by the ‘Intervision’ management after they learned she searched for it in Russian markets but could not find it.

Mustafa Saad, Egypt’s representative in the ‘Intervision’ competition, performed his song on the Life Arena stage. Mustafa Saad is a musician who has been practicing musical creativity for about 20 years and is now successfully transferring his musical expertise as a music teacher and singing coach. All the important milestones in his musical career are linked to his hometown, Alexandria, where he graduated from Alexandria University, and since 2007, he has been a solo singer in Alexandria (known as the Sayed Darwish Theatre). Mustafa Saad’s creative projects harmonize Eastern and Western music, possessing a magnificent resonant voice, and he participates as a solo singer and collaborates with Egyptian and foreign bands in many competitions and festivals inside and outside Egypt.

His achievements include participating in the ‘Art Biennale’ (an art event) in Milan and Genoa, appearing on famous TV shows, and winning the Arab Song Contest under the auspices of the Supreme Council of Culture in Egypt. ‘Intervision’ is an international music competition aiming to be a platform for open cultural dialogue, where participants express the spiritual and moral values of their people through their art, while the festival allows the audience to immerse themselves in the cultural heritage, traditions, and unique creativity of each country.

Earlier, President Vladimir said that Russia is proud to become a center of attraction for talents from all over the world through the ‘Intervision 2025’ international music competition.
