This was announced by the Public Relations Office of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in Lorestan Province, as reported by Iran’s Mehr News Agency on Wednesday. The agency noted that the explosion resulted in the death of a child and injured others in one of the villages of the Biran Shahr district, indicating that the injured were transported to medical centers for treatment.
The agency stated that the Revolutionary Guard blamed Israel for the ongoing threats facing civilians due to the shells it fired on the country during the war. It is noteworthy that Israel and Iran exchanged airstrikes and missile attacks that lasted for 12 days from June 13 to June 24 last month.
The war included Iran bombing strategic targets and Israel destroying several vital objectives in Iran. It also involved American and Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, followed by an Iranian attack on the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on June 24, before U.S. President Donald Trump announced that both parties had reached a ceasefire.
