The Foreign Ministry stated in its declaration that “levying unfounded accusations against entities responsible for safeguarding Iranian national security represents a deliberate distortion of reality and is a blatant fabrication by countries that themselves engage in illegal and destabilizing policies in various parts of the world, especially in West Asia.” It added that America and its allies in the G7 bear direct responsibility for threatening regional and international security and stability due to “their complicity with Israel in committing serious violations of international law and humanitarian law, as well as their support for well-known terrorist groups,” according to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency.
The statement pointed out that issuing such positions is “nothing more than an attempt to cover up the genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people, with full support from Washington, London, Berlin, and Paris,” asserting that “these outdated colonial policies will not succeed in concealing the crime of the century.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry concluded its statement by emphasizing that “Western countries are required to correct their erroneous and hostile policies towards Iran and the region instead of persisting in deception and fabrication.” Last Friday, the G7’s rapid response mechanism issued a statement accusing Iran of engaging in what it described as “other destabilizing activities.”
