Jumana Al-Ghalai, the spokesperson for the commission, explained that the decision aims to respect social sensitivities and avoid any negative impact on the electoral process, according to the Iraqi Alsumaria channel.
She added that the draw, which will start from sequence 201, will include 31 political alliances, 38 parties, and 76 individual candidates, of whom 23 are for general seats and 53 for component seats.
This decision comes in conjunction with the commission’s announcement of the final statistics of the participants in the elections, in a move aimed at ensuring the electoral process proceeds smoothly and without issues.
