In his speech at the opening session of the 164th regular session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, Safadi stated that “the world faces an Israeli regime with no limit to the brutality of its destructive wars on Gaza, the West Bank, and the stability and future of Syria and Lebanon,” according to the Jordanian “Khaberni.” He explained that “the Israeli government wants to change the map of the region to impose Israeli hegemony on our Arab world,” pointing out that “this is the danger that should compel a reevaluation of all our joint work tools.”
The Jordanian Foreign Minister warned of “the consequences of Israeli aggressions and interventions in sister Syria and its affairs, and we stand with it in confronting all division plans,” stressing that “Syria’s stability is an Arab and international strategic necessity.”
Last Saturday, dozens of Israeli military vehicles entered the village of Al-Asha in the countryside of Quneitra, while the Israeli army announced the arrest of Syrian citizens on the pretext of “suspicion of their involvement in promoting terrorist activities” against the occupying forces.
The army also claimed that during the combing operations, “combat tools” were found in the areas where they operated, adding: “The 210th Division forces continue to deploy in the region and work to thwart attempts by terrorist elements to establish themselves, aiming to ensure the security of Israeli citizens,” as they described.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin stated that “Israel wants to establish a demilitarized zone in southern Syria, including Sweida.”
