The army explained in a statement published on Telegram, today Friday, that the operation was carried out through an airstrike by an Israeli warplane, based on joint intelligence with the Israeli General Security Service, Shin Bet. The statement claimed that Abu Al-Khair was involved in planning and executing operations against Israeli forces, noting that the Israeli army continues its operations in the north and south of the sector.

From October 7, 2023, to the current September 18, the actions on Gaza have resulted in the death of about 65,000 Palestinians, in addition to approximately 166,000 injuries, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

It is noteworthy that the plan to occupy Gaza, known as ‘Gideon’s Chariots 2’, includes forcibly displacing about one million Palestinians from Gaza City to the south of the sector. This has caused widespread international criticism, yet preparations to implement the plan continue despite all warnings.
