Located in 1996 Haldwani, Uttar Pradesh (now Uttarakhand), the story centers on Jaspreet, aka Jassi, a romantic at heart in search of true love. His quest leads him to Jasmeet (Rehmat Rattan), but he must overcome an unexpected hurdle—Jaswinder (Sikandar Kher), who is also called Jassi.
“This film is total madness in the most delightful way! Jassi Weds Jassi celebrates the vibrant Punjabi spirit, love, and the unique chaos that ensues when multiple Jassis unite. It’s humorous, touching, and relatable for everyone,” expressed Bawa.
Producer Mazahir Abbas added, “We aimed to create something that keeps people smiling throughout. Jassi Weds Jassi is fun, desi, and heartfelt—a film for the entire family.”
Lead actor Harshh Vardhan Singh Deo shared, “Playing Jassi has been incredibly entertaining. He’s a simple Punjabi munda (young man) with a heart of gold—a dreamer who loves the idea of love, innocent yet mischievous, and determined to pursue his love interest in the most charming way. Living in his world has been a joy, full of madness, energy, and fun—everything about Jassi Weds Jassi is pure entertainment!”
