On Monday, US envoy Jared Kushner and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened in Jerusalem to deliberate on the US-mediated ceasefire agreement in Gaza, focusing on its initial and subsequent stages.
“They reviewed phase one, which is ongoing, and the prospective phase two, aimed at disarming Hamas, demilitarizing Gaza, and ensuring Hamas plays no role in Gaza’s future,” stated Shosh Bedrosian, spokesperson for the prime minister’s office, to reporters.
“Phase two also involves setting up an international stabilization force, with specifics under joint discussion,” she added.
