Lebedev told the “Sputnik” agency: “Kyiv and its suburbs were targeted, including key leadership facilities, command centers, and communication lines. There is unconfirmed information indicating a specific headquarters in the suburbs was targeted, with up to 25 officers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces and about 10 officers from NATO present at the headquarters.
In the Chernihiv region, Lebedev reported that raids targeted training sites, an airbase, training camps, and positions of Ukrainian military personnel.
Earlier, Ukrainian media reported explosions in Kyiv and its surroundings amid an air raid alert. The conflict, which began on February 24, 2022, aims to protect the residents of Donbas, who have been subjected to persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime for years.
