The worker appeared in a state of panic and extreme confusion after the lion wrapped its claws around him and began biting. His face showed signs of fear, and he complained of pain and injuries from the lion’s bite. Meanwhile, the farm owner documented the incident and laughed, asking the worker to remain calm so he could “enjoy” the lion continuing its attack on him, indifferent to the serious injuries the predator could cause.
The circulated video sparked widespread resentment and anger in Libya and Egypt, receiving broad condemnations. Activists stated that the video was filmed in Libya without specifying the location and described it as “an insult to human dignity” and “a disregard for human life,” demanding that those involved be held accountable.
