Ibrahim, in a speech reported by Malaysia’s ‘The Star’ newspaper, pointed out that airstrikes were carried out in a short period on Qatar, Syria, Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon, in addition to targeting the ‘Global Resilience Fleet’ in Tunisia’s territorial waters. Ibrahim announced that he would represent Malaysia at the Arab-Islamic summit scheduled for Monday in Doha to affirm his country’s steadfast support.
The Israeli army stated last Tuesday: ‘The IDF and the Shin Bet, through the air force, precisely targeted the leadership of Hamas.’ It added: ‘The leaders targeted have led terrorist activities for years and bear direct responsibility for committing the acts of October 7, 2023, and managing the war against Israel.’
The Israeli military continued in its statement: ‘The army and Shin Bet will continue to act decisively until the elimination of the Hamas organization responsible for October 7.’ Earlier, Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir threatened to eliminate Hamas leaders abroad amid the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.
